Maiden, Mother, Crone

Original design by Tony of Amulets by Merlin.  This piece illustrates the three stages of Womanhood within the over all image of Venus.  Below it the Maiden.  She holds the chalice that in turn holds the flame keeper of the promise.  In the middle is the Mother.  Pregnant she fulfills the promise. In one hand is the bud and the other the blossom of the rose.  Above her and below the cycle moon is the Crone.  She holds the wisdom and reveals the destiny of those who seek her.
